Abstractions and Arguments

• Properly designed Pd patches or objects can be used as “objects” in other Pd patches. Such objects are referred to as abstractions.

• Abstractions can take default arguments via the $ argument (ex., $1 and $2).

• Abstractions must be located in the current Pd path.
