Project presentations and reports should include:
a quick summary of your objectives / motivation
the project design / methodology
particular issues that proved challenging / rewarding
example usage / demo
clear citations for tools or resources used that were created by others
The reports should be made available on a website (ex., github, WordPress, ...) or submitted as a PDF document. As well, all code or patches developed for the project should be linked to the report for download. If your project involves hardware or software not used in the course, you should provide a short video demonstration.
Grading will be based on:
presentation (7%): organization, clarity, description of the motivation and general methodology for the project, demonstration of example usage or results
web write-up (8%): well documented / organized, grammatically correct, describes methodology, must cite tools or resources developed by others, discuss problematic issues, contributions, possible improvements or future work
research and/or development (10%): appropriateness of approach, quality of results, scope, diligence, effort
